So instead continue straight on the main road that you are arriving on until you reach a "T" intersection with only a left or right turn possible. The soothing voice will take you to the rear area of the park (off of Mahagony Dr) with no park access. When arriving from Eagle Lake Road into the town of Spalding (Spalding Rd/Lakeview Dr), please DO NOT listen to the wonderful voice of your navigation system. The southern route of A1 off Hwy 36 is a beautiful drive that takes you past the forest service area of the lake, but it is curvy and sometimes has a considerable amount of traffic. The park number is 530.825.3133.ĭuring the season, we do recommend coming to the park via HWY 139 from the east and driving 20 min down Eagle Lake Rd (HWY A1) as this is a straighter and less curvy road. If you have questions about the route please call us before you leave for up-to-date traffic and road conditions.
